Reconstruction at the Mangistau CMP of KazTransOil JSC (Stage 1)

Our company successfully completed the reconstruction of communication and power supply systems at 22 facilities.

From August to December 2023, we concluded the initial phase of a comprehensive project focused on reconstructing communication and power supply systems in Control and Management Points (CMP) across 22 sites managed by Mangystau Oil Pipeline Management, a branch of 'KazTransOil' JSC.

The reconstruction objectives included upgrading the communication and emergency power supply systems with organized monitoring, establishing communication channels for production and security video surveillance, as well as implementing various production automation systems for the Customer.

In the conditions of remoteness and limited access to quality roads, ensuring the reliability of communication and data transmission systems, including power supply systems, is crucial. Specialized solutions and technologies are necessary to ensure the stable operation of equipment in such challenging conditions.

The power supply system kit supplied by our company provides reliable electrical power for communication and data transmission equipment during prolonged periods without external power supply.

Within the reconstruction, the following main equipment was installed:
  1. ENEDO (Finland) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with power module redundancy ensures continuous and stable power supply in the absence of external electricity, maintaining the operability of communication equipment for over 36 hours.
  2. Power Quality Analyzer from Janitza electronics GmbH (Germany): Guarantees continuous monitoring and control of power supply parameters, ensuring system stability.
  3. Sonnenschein battery units from Exide Technologies group.
  4. Battery Analysis and Care System (BACS®) from GENEREX Systems GmbH, Germany: Intelligent battery status control and charge level regulation prevent potential issues with premature battery failure, reducing the risks of malfunctions and ensuring more efficient battery operation.
  5. Replacement of data transmission network equipment with Cisco Systems (USA) equipment: Increases communication channel bandwidth to 100/1000 Mbps for production-technical communication, video surveillance, and various production automation systems.
The power supply systems, battery units, and power quality analyzers have been integrated into the Customer's monitoring system. Despite the challenges faced during project execution, our company successfully completed the project within the contractual terms and with a high level of quality.
